Honor’s upcoming Honor Win series has so far been described as “gaming-focused” and “battery-guzzling.” However, recent leaks on Weibo reveal that Honor has invested heavily not only in raw power but also in photography capabilities in this series. The Honor Win series is poised to be a “versatile flagship” that strikes a perfect balance between performance and camera.
Sony Sensors in Action
According to leak source Bald Panda, the Honor Win series doesn’t neglect selfie enthusiasts. Both models will come with a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera on the front. There’s a clear difference between the models on the back:

Honor Win RT (Standard Model): Comes with a dual camera setup. The main role is played by a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor, accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Honor Win (Top Model): Stands out with a triple camera unit. In addition to the main and ultra-wide-angle lenses found in the RT model, this model features a 50MP Sony IMX856 telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom.
Camera improvements aside, the device’s true “beast” features remain:
- Display: A 6.83-inch, 1.5K resolution OLED panel with a rare 185Hz refresh rate in the mobile world. It also features 5920Hz PWM dimming support to reduce eye strain.
- Hardware: The Honor Win model reaches peak performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the Win RT model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
- Power: Both phones have a massive 10,000 mAh battery. The Honor Win model supports 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, while the RT model will only offer wired charging to reduce costs.
- Cooling: Both models feature built-in cooling fans to handle the immense power inside the devices.
- Other Key Features
- Security: 3D ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader.
- Audio: Powerful dual speaker system combining 1216 and 0809H units.
- Design: Immersive visual experience with screen bezels just 1.4 mm thin.
The Honor Win series will be officially launched in China on December 26th. Whether it will come to the global market remains a mystery.
