Xiaomi has officially launched its new flagship shaver, the Mijia Electric Shaver Pro, in the Chinese market. Priced at 469 yuan (approximately $66), the device is positioned as the brand’s strongest player in the personal care category thanks to its technological features and long battery life.

The shaver features a three-head rotary cutting system. Each head has a double-ringed grooved foil structure, allowing it to capture more hairs in a single pass. The blades are made of double-concave stainless steel produced using metal injection molding technology. This structure ensures perfect synchronization with the outer foil, eliminating the pulling sensation often found in traditional designs and increasing cutting stability.
On the performance side, the device features a high-speed motor capable of 5 million cutting strokes per minute. A built-in intelligent chip analyzes beard density by measuring 100 times per second and instantly adjusts motor power accordingly.
Users can choose between a standard mode at 2900 rpm and an enhanced mode at 3100 rpm, depending on their needs. The floating head design, with 360-degree movement capability, adapts perfectly to facial contours; supporting vertical, horizontal, and angled oscillations, it delivers effective results in difficult areas like the jawline. Additionally, the light ring on the back of the device changes color to warn the user if excessive force is applied, thanks to its intelligent pressure sensor.
The Mijia Electric Shaver Pro boasts impressive battery life, operating for up to 95 days in standard mode and 90 days in enhanced mode without needing a charge, based on one minute of daily use. Offering fast charging via USB-C, the machine features an IPX8 certified, fully waterproof body, allowing for both wet and dry shaving.
The color display on the device allows for real-time monitoring of the active mode, battery level, travel lock, and maintenance time. Low-nickel stainless steel and a friction-reducing micro-bead coating minimize the risk of irritation for sensitive skin.
