Xiaomi Buds 6 Unveiled
Designed with lightness and comfort in mind, each earbud weighs only 4.4 grams. To enhance comfort during extended use, the company opted for a biomimetic curved form, reducing the earbud stem by 12% and the earpiece width by 11.3% compared to the previous model. Additionally, the 8.8% increase in the contact surface area with the ear ensures a more even distribution of physical pressure inside the ear.

In terms of audio engineering, the Buds 6 is equipped with a specially developed three-magnet dynamic driver system. Featuring a 24-karat gold-plated diaphragm, this design offers 40% more sensitivity in bass frequencies and 30% more sensitivity in treble frequencies.
The device delivers sound in detail with a wide frequency range of 16Hz to 40kHz. Collaborating with the Harman Golden Ear team for sound settings, Xiaomi allows users to access different profiles such as Harman AudioEFX and Master mode via the app. Technically, the headphones offer 24-bit/48kHz audio support and a 2.1 Mbps data transfer speed; they also feature advanced codecs such as SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, as well as Snapdragon Sound and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications.
In terms of noise management, the product comes with active noise cancellation (ANC) and a three-microphone, AI-powered system. This system maintains sound clarity even when wind speeds reach 12 m/s. The headphones also feature spatial audio support that can track head movements without the need for additional hardware.
In terms of smart features, the device can independently record audio even when the charging case is closed. When paired with compatible Xiaomi ecosystem devices, functions such as real-time speech-to-text conversion, AI-based summarization, and face-to-face and simultaneous translation are activated. Both Xiaomi Find and Apple Find My network support is available in case of loss.
Regarding usage time, with ANC off, it provides 6 hours on a single charge, and a total of 35 hours with the charging case. When noise cancellation is enabled, these times decrease to 3.5 hours on a single charge and 20 hours in total. Charging via USB-C, the Xiaomi Buds 6 boasts an IP54 certification, making it resistant to dust and splashes.
