Motorola has started the countdown for its new flagship series, Motorola Signature, which is set to shake up the Indian market. Leaks in the industry suggest that this new series will replace the highly anticipated Motorola Edge 70 Ultra and will be the new face of the brand in the top segment.
Performance Peak with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
The device’s appearance on Geekbench officially confirms both its name and the monstrous hardware inside. Geekbench listings confirm that the Motorola Signature will be powered by Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Paired with the Adreno 829 GPU, this processor will push the limits in gaming and high-performance tasks.

- Memory and Software: The tested device appears to have 16GB of RAM and will ship with Android 16.
- Scores: The device achieved a score of 2,854 in the single-core test and 9,411 in the multi-core test, showcasing true flagship performance.
Motorola India shared the first official teaser video for the device shortly after the Geekbench leak. While no technical details were given in the image, users were given the message, “Come back on December 28, 2025.” This date could be the day the phone will be officially launched or become available for pre-order in India.
The leaked images show that Motorola has maintained the successful design language of its Edge series but added some touches to give it a more premium feel:
- Camera: A triple camera island is located in the upper left corner of the rear, housing the main camera, ultra-wide-angle, and periscope telephoto lenses. All three sensors are expected to have a 50MP resolution.
- Display: It is estimated that there will be a 6.7-inch flat OLED panel on the front offering 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Colors: The device is expected to be available in Black, Green, and an impressive Bronze color option.
