Baykar achieved $2.2 billion in exports in 2025, leading the global UCAV export market. The world’s largest UAV company generated 88% of its revenue from international sales last year.
Baykar, developer of Türkiye’s indigenous and original UCAVs, once again remained the world’s largest exporter of unmanned aerial vehicles in 2025. Having led the UAV export market for three consecutive years, the company renewed its record with $2.2 billion in export revenue. Globally acclaimed for its UAV platforms, Baykar also pioneers Türkiye’s high-technology exports.
EXPORTS ACCOUNT FOR 88% OF REVENUE
Baykar generated $2.5 billion in total revenue in 2025, with exports accounting for 88% of its annual income. According to the latest data announced at the 5th Conference on Global Strategies in the Defense and Aviation Industry, hosted by the Defense Industry Agency (SSB), Baykar ranked second among Türkiye’s top defense exporters, while maintaining a clear lead in the UAV export category.
EXPORT LEADER
Since launching its UAV research and development program in 2003, Baykar has financed all its projects with its own resources and generated 83% of its cumulative revenue from exports. In 2023, the company recorded $1.8 billion in exports, ranking among Türkiye’s top ten exporters across all sectors. The global leader in the UAV export market, Baykar sustained its international success in 2024 with another $1.8 billion in exports, accounting for 90% of its total revenue.

BAYKAR: THE WORLD’S LARGEST UAV COMPANY
Baykar, which ranked among Türkiye’s top ten exporters across all sectors in 2023 and 2024, received the prestigious Champions of Export Award. According to data from the Defense Industry Agency (SSB) and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the company was also the Turkish defense and aviation industry’s export leader for four consecutive years, from 2021 through 2024. In 2023, Baykar accounted for one-third of the industry’s total export volume. The following year, it generated one-quarter of all defense and aviation exports, further strengthening Türkiye’s position as the global leader in the UCAV export market. Now the world’s largest UAV company, Baykar has signed export contracts with 36 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 UCAV and 16 countries for the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV — reaching a total of 37 countries.
