Lenovo has officially announced the Lenovo Legion C700, a new Android-based handheld gaming console tailored specifically for cloud gaming and local PC streaming. The device is scheduled to hit the market on September 8, with an initial retail price of 2,199 yuan, though an early-bird promotion will lower the entry cost to 1,999 yuan. Designed to offer a lightweight and highly portable alternative to traditional Windows-based gaming handhelds, the Legion C700 prioritizes accessibility and seamless connectivity. With a peak brightness of 500 nits, the console ensures visibility even in challenging lighting conditions. 
In terms of ergonomics, the device adopts a familiar Xbox-style button layout, which is intended to reduce fatigue during extended play sessions. The chassis is finished in an Ice Soul White color, giving it a modern aesthetic. 
Because the internal architecture is optimized for cloud streaming, the device is remarkably thin at 14.9 mm and weighs only 556 grams, making it significantly lighter than many of its Windows-powered competitors.

Under the hood, the console is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB, with the added flexibility of microSD expansion for users who require extra space. To manage heat during intensive streaming sessions, the unit incorporates an active cooling fan. 
Control precision is maintained through TMR magnetic resistance joysticks featuring customizable RGB lighting, alongside Hall-effect linear triggers. The inclusion of programmable back and shoulder buttons allows for complex input mapping. Running on Android 16, the device leverages Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 to guarantee a stable, low-latency connection. Under ideal network conditions, the console achieves a delay of less than 10ms, enabling smooth gameplay for demanding titles like Black Myth: Wukong at 60fps. Users can also fine-tune their experience through a dedicated menu that adjusts fan speeds, analog sensitivity, and display refresh rates in real time.
