Xiaomi continues to expand its product lineup. As part of this effort, the Chinese brand is preparing to launch the POCO F7 model very soon. The latest developments reveal a significant detail regarding the smartphone’s launch date.
What will the POCO F7 offer and when will it launch?
Following the global release of the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro last month, POCO is now getting ready to introduce the standard F7 model. According to reliable sources, including Yogesh Brar, the launch is being planned for the end of May. Unless there’s a last-minute change, the device will be unveiled next month.

It’s well known that rebranding is quite common among Chinese brands. As such, the POCO F7 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is set to be unveiled today. If this rumor turns out to be true, both models will share the same core specifications despite having different names and designs.
The smartphone is likely to feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1280 pixels). It may sport a 20 MP front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor and an 8 MP secondary sensor, possibly for ultra-wide shots.
The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) chipset, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will likely pack a 7,550 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. It is also expected to run Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 interface.
Other anticipated features include a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal mid-frame, an IR blaster, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance certification. Finally, the device is said to measure 163.1 x 77.93 x 7.98 mm and weigh 219 grams.
