The release date for InZOI, the life simulation game developed by Krafton and touted as a rival to The Sims, has been revealed. Released on PC in early access in March 2025, the game initially underwhelmed expectations. Krafton recently announced that InZOI will be coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026.
InZOI Coming to PlayStation
The company did not provide a specific release date, but it was stated that the console version of the game will be released closer to the full version. It was also questionable whether this transition would be limited to PlayStation. Krafton stated that no final decision has yet been made regarding the Xbox Series X/S. An Xbox version is reportedly still under consideration, but no official development plans have been released.

InZOI, notable for its level of realism, is being positioned as a photorealistic alternative to The Sims. The game, which allows players to create their own characters, pursue careers in various professions, form romantic relationships, and shape their lives through various hobbies, aims to offer a unique experience for enthusiasts of the genre with its detailed life simulation.
The PC version, released in March, faced some technical and content shortcomings due to its early access status. Krafton stated that these shortcomings will be largely addressed with the PlayStation 5 version, and that the game will be ported to consoles in a more mature version.
Mod support allows for continuous expansion of the game’s content. Players can create different scenarios with mods and customize the game to their personal preferences. Krafton stated that efforts are underway to maintain this flexibility in the console versions.
Following Krafton’s success in the gaming world with PUBG, InZOI is seen as a significant step forward in establishing the company’s ambitions in next-generation simulation games. More details about the PlayStation 5 version are expected to be announced in the coming months, approaching 2026.
