ston Martin, which started as a small workshop in England in 1913, has become one of the most important luxury car manufacturers after 110 years. Now, the renowned British manufacturer is celebrating its 110th anniversary with a very special model.
Aston Martin Valour takes you back in time with its design
Aston Martin crowns its 110th year with the limited-production Valour model. This new vehicle, unlike any other model in the British manufacturer’s lineup, pays tribute to Aston Martin’s past with its design.
The vehicle, which will be limited to only 110 units, makes references to the first-produced V8 Vantage model in terms of design and the RHAM/1 ‘Muncher’ model that participated in the 1980 Le Mans 24 Hours race. With its retro design, the car pays homage to the past and seems to capture the hearts of car enthusiasts with its manual transmission.
The car, which has a carbon fiber body, stands out with its hood vents and round-shaped LED lights. The iconic front grille of Aston Martin also takes its place in this limited-production model.Overall, Aston Martin Valour boasts an aerodynamic design and maximizes downforce with its integrated large spoiler on the trunk lid. The slim taillights are yet another reference to Aston Martin’s past.
When we move to the interior, we see that it is based on the current Vantage model. The center console greets us with a new design focused around the manual transmission. The wooden gear knob adds a retro touch to the interior while maintaining elegance.
Under the special model’s body lies a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces 715 horsepower and 753 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential, and the car’s 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration is announced as 3.5 seconds. The top speed of the Valour is stated as 322 km/h (200 mph).
With its limited production of 110 units, the car is expected to be a favorite among collectors, although its price has not been disclosed yet. Deliveries from the British manufacturer are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. What are your thoughts on the special Aston Martin Valour model?
