Acer introduced its new laptop series at Computex 2025, which is both visually appealing and technologically significant. The company’s prominent model, the Swift Edge 14 AI, is the world’s first laptop with an OLED screen coated with Corning Gorilla Matte Pro.
This special screen surface, which is highly effective against glare, was designed especially for professionals who work in front of the screen for long periods of time. Acer also introduced AI-powered Copilot+ laptops in different segments, along with the Swift Go AI, Swift X 14 AI and Aspire AI series.
Swift Edge 14 AI with Matte Screen
The Swift Edge 14 AI targets mobile professionals with its magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis weighing only 2.18 pounds and measuring 0.65 inches thin. Its most striking feature is its 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen. According to Acer’s data, this screen reflects 95% less than traditional anti-reflective glass.

Thanks to this, the screen can be viewed comfortably even under bright light. This model, powered by Intel’s new generation Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” processors, can be equipped with up to 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. It offers powerful connectivity options with two Thunderbolt 4, two USB-A and one HDMI port. Acer states that this model’s battery life is 21 hours.
Swift Go AI
The Swift Go 14 AI and 16 AI models stand out as more affordable versions of the Swift Edge 14 AI. Both models have an OLED screen, but the resolution is kept at 1200p. These models, which come with Lunar Lake processors, can have a maximum Core Ultra 7 CPU and up to 32 GB of RAM. The Swift Go series, which comes with an aluminum case, appeals to users who care about the price/performance balance.

Swift X 14 AI with RTX 5070 GPU
Acer’s Swift X 14 AI series, which is offered for creative professionals, is equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 300 or Intel Arrow Lake-H processors. Both variants have Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics card and Nvidia Studio drivers.

The OLED screens are 14.5 inches in size and offer 1800p resolution, while 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy and Calman certification are also noteworthy. The thickness of these models is kept under 1 inch and they weigh around 3.5 pounds. They also come with a touchpad with tactile feedback.
Aspire AI series
The entry-level Aspire 14 AI and 16 AI models appeal to the affordable price segment, but offer a quality user experience thanks to their aluminum chassis. These models, which come with Snapdragon X, Ryzen AI 300 and Intel Lunar Lake processor options, also have an OLED screen option.

Although there is no graphics card option, they appeal to a wide range of users with processor support from different platforms. Acer has not yet announced the prices and exact release dates of the models introduced.
