Acer has officially entered the smart ring segment with the FreeSense Ring model it introduced at the Computex 2025 fair. The company, which has made an ambitious move in the field of wearable technology by going beyond its traditional products such as computers and monitors, draws attention with its new device focused on health monitoring.
Acer enters the smart ring segment with FreeSense Ring
FreeSense Ring can instantly measure vital data such as users’ heart rate, blood oxygen level, heart rhythm fluctuations and sleep quality. The device not only collects this data; it also offers personalized health and lifestyle suggestions through Acer’s artificial intelligence-supported analysis system.

In this way, the device is not only an activity tracking tool; it also functions as an assistant for long-term health management. The ring’s hardware prioritizes comfort and durability in daily use. Thanks to its titanium alloy body, which weighs approximately 3 grams, it offers a structure that is both lightweight and durable.
FreeSense Ring comes in sizes 7 to 13 for different finger structures. It can also be used in water activities such as swimming with its 5ATM water resistance certificate. The product, which also draws attention in terms of design, will be available to users in two different color options: glossy black and matte rose gold.
Acer has not yet made an official statement about the FreeSense Ring’s sales price and release date. So what do you think about this device? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
