Action game topped Steam before it was even released!

Steam's best-selling games for the past week have been announced. Black Myth: Wukong rocked the list even before its release.

Action RPG Black Myth: Wukong has enjoyed unexpected popularity on Steam in recent weeks. Accordingly, it topped the digital platform’s best-selling titles list between July 30 and August 6.

Telling a story based on the Chinese fable Journey to the West, Black Myth: Wukong has made more money than any other game on Steam this week, even though it’s not out yet. The release date for PC and PS5 is set for August 20th.

Black Myth: Wukong ranked seventh in Steam’s overall weekly charts, including free-to-play and Steam Deck. This shows that pre-orders are dominated by gamers waiting for the game to be released at the end of the month.
