Adobe announced they are working on an AI tool that can convert text commands into music pieces. This tool can also edit music tracks, cut and loop them effectively, functioning as an efficient piece editing tool. Users can input adjectives and music genres describing the type of sound they want the AI model to create.
Adobe’s New AI Tool Will Convert Text into Music
Currently named “Project Music GenAI Control,” this tool could be highly beneficial for YouTubers, influencers, and podcasters looking for royalty-free intro, outro, or background music. While Adobe has not provided specific details on what data the tool is based on, it indicates that AI will open new horizons in creativity.
According to Adobe’s Senior Research Scientist Nicholas Bryan, these new tools not only generate sound but also provide creators with Photoshop-level deep control in shaping, adjusting, and editing their music.
Like Google, Meta, and Microsoft, Adobe is also working on AI tools for different use cases. The company has already launched an image creation tool called Firefly and an AI Assistant tool to help Acrobat and Reader users analyze and edit PDF documents.
