Mass Effect is preparing to become a series with Amazon Prime Video. Amazon, which will realize a giant project within MGM Studios, plans to start shooting the series by creating an experienced team. So what will the Amazon Mass Effect series be about?
Prime Video has started working on Mass Effect series
Amazon is planning to adapt the Mass Effect series as a series with Prime Video. The series will be developed under MGM Studios and will be written by Daniel Casey, the screenwriter of Fast and Furious 9. Casey will also executive produce. Karim Zreik, who we know from the Marvel series, will be on the production team with Tree Productions.
Ari Arad and EA’s Michael Gamble are also on the production team. Although there is no clear information about the subject of the series yet, it seems possible that the series will deal with the Mass Effect universe, which met with the players in 2007. It is also unclear whether it will be connected to the game series.
Developed by BioWare and published by EA, the Mass Effect series has managed to appeal to a wide audience for over a decade. The original trilogy of the series followed the adventures of Commander Shepard, who was tasked with saving humanity from the Reaper aliens. Andromeda took the story into the future with a new hero.
Amazon’s adaptation series is the latest attempt to adapt the sci-fi franchise for a wider audience. Previous efforts in the development of the Mass Effect movie were unsuccessful, but players will now have the opportunity to follow their favorite characters and stories.
Led by an experienced team and backed by Amazon and MGM, the Mass Effect series promises to be one not to be missed.
