Microsoft announced a few months ago that it would bring the Age of Empires series to mobile. They even released the first gameplay video. While the game, eagerly awaited for Android and iOS devices, is now available for early access on the Play Store for Android devices. So, how does it play? Here are the details…
Age of Empires Mobile, downloadable for Android devices
Developed by Level Infinite, Age of Empires Mobile will attract mobile gamers and further increase the popularity of the series. While the production is in the pre-order process on the App Store for iOS, it recently became playable for Android devices.
You can click here to access the Play Store page and download Age of Empires Mobile to your Android device. The game gives players the chance to control historical heroes such as Barbarossa and Queen of Sheba on the battlefield. In the game, we see that four civilizations – the French, the Romans, the Chinese, and the Byzantines – can be controlled.
Since the game is offered as early access, you may encounter optimization issues, bugs, missing features, graphic and visual issues, and content gaps. If you’re considering playing the game, it’s worth keeping these in mind.
Age of Empires Mobile seems poised to create significant competition in the mobile strategy game market. What are your thoughts on this? Will you play the new game? Don’t forget to share your opinions with us in the Comments section below.
