After a long silence, Alcatel is returning to the market with three new smartphone models introduced in India. The brand, owned by TCL, has launched the Alcatel V3 Classic, V3 Pro and V3 Ultra models, which appeal to the entry and mid-range segments.
Alcatel is back in the smartphone industry with the V3 series
The NxtPaper screens on the Alcatel V3 Pro and V3 Ultra models protect eye health with a specially etched anti-glare glass coating and blue light filters, while offering an e-book-like viewing experience.

You can also switch between screens with the physical NxtPaper button on the devices. Thanks to a special mode called Max Ink, the phone’s interface switches to grayscale, which significantly reduces battery consumption. This mode improves the reading experience by reducing distractions and extends battery life up to 7 days.
The V3 Classic model comes with a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The same screen size and refresh rate are also available on the V3 Pro model, but the screen technology has been updated to NxtPaper.
The V3 Ultra offers a 6.8-inch FullHD+ resolution screen and comes with a stylus pen. All models have the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Memory options vary depending on the model and are offered between 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM.
Internal storage starts at 128 GB and goes up to 256 GB. Camera features also vary from model to model. The V3 Classic and V3 Pro are equipped with a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP ultra-wide angle lens. In the V3 Ultra, the main camera has a resolution of 108 MP, the ultra-wide angle camera has an 8 MP and the front camera has a resolution of 32 MP. In the other two models, the front camera is limited to 8 MP.
Alcatel announces that it will offer 3 years of Android operating system updates and 4 years of security updates for all models. The devices come out of the box with the Android 15 operating system. On the battery side, the V3 Classic and V3 Pro come with a 5,200mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. The V3 Ultra model has a smaller 5,010mAh battery but supports 33W fast charging.
The Alcatel V3 series will go on sale in India as of June 2. The V3 Classic will be available for $152 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and $175 with 6GB of RAM and the same storage. The V3 Pro is set at $211 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The V3 Ultra will be sold for $234 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and $258 with 8GB of RAM.
