Sony’s latest State of Play showcase, which aired on September 24th, treated PlayStation fans to a whirlwind tour of over 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 titles. From highly anticipated sequels to nostalgic throwbacks and innovative new IPs, the 30-minute presentation offered something for everyone.
PlayStation State of Play Delivers a Packed Lineup: Ghost of Yotei, Alan Wake 2 DLC, and More!
The highlight for many was the reveal of Ghost of Yotei, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima. Set in 1603, players will take on the role of a new Ghost, Atsu, and explore the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Mount Yōtei. Expect another stunning open-world adventure packed with action and atmosphere when the game launches in 2025.
Alan Wake 2 Fans Rejoice with Lake House DLC
Remedy Entertainment announced Lake House, the first DLC expansion for their hit survival horror title, Alan Wake 2. Players will once again step into the shoes of FBI agent Kiran Estevez as she investigates a chilling incident at an FBC research station near Cauldron Lake. The DLC is slated for release sometime in October.

- Dynasty Warriors: Origins will explore the roots of the Yellow Turban Rebellion when it releases on January 17, 2025.
- Monster Hunter Wilds promises a thrilling new hunting experience when it launches on February 28, 2025.
- Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is coming to PS5 and PC on October 31, offering a visual upgrade to the beloved open-world adventure.
- Fantasian Neo Dimension, a stunning JRPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, will release on December 5.
