AMD continues its regular driver updates for graphics cards, releasing Adrenalin 25.10.2. This new version brings significant improvements and optimizations, particularly for hardware and gaming. Adrenalin 25.10.2 officially begins supporting the next-generation processor, the Ryzen AI 5 330 APU.
AMD Adrenalin 25.10.2 driver released
Gaming support is the most notable aspect of this release. AMD is introducing optimizations for two highly anticipated major titles: Battlefield 6 (DX12) and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (DX12). These optimizations promise a smoother and more seamless experience in newer games.

However, the driver comes with a caveat: it disables USB-C power charging on RX 7900 series graphics cards. Affected users will need to revert to the previous drivers to continue using the charging feature.
The list of resolved issues is quite extensive. This release fixes application crashes, particularly in NBA 2K25’s MyCareer mode, on Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards.
Additionally, the bugs that have been addressed include occasional application crashes while playing The Last of Us Part II on RX 7900 series graphics cards. Crashes while playing FBC: Firebreak on various AMD Ryzen processors (such as the Ryzen AI 300 and Ryzen 8000 series) have also been addressed.
Other fixes include crashes when playing GTFO on the RX 7000 series, stutters when playing games at 80Hz or 90Hz with some VR headsets, stutters when playing Baldur’s Gate 3 on the RX 9000 and 7000 series, texture flickering or corruption when playing Serious Sam 4 on the RX 6000 series, and shadow distortion in the left eye when playing VTOL VR on the RX 7000 and 9000 series. AMD also announced that it’s actively working on a fix for the NBA 2K25 MyCareer crash, which will be released soon. What are your thoughts on this?
