AMD continues to release regular driver updates for its graphics cards, and has recently launched the Adrenalin 25.12.1 driver. Keeping drivers up-to-date is crucial, as they play a critical role in computer performance, just like the hardware itself. This new version includes significant enhancements to improve gaming experience, as well as various bug fixes.
AMD Adrenalin 25.12.1 driver is now available
The biggest innovation in the Adrenalin Edition 25.12.1 driver is the addition of support for AMD FSR 4 “Redstone,” the company’s next-generation image upscaling technology. This technology enables higher resolutions and frame rates in games. The driver also brings support to AI-focused solutions such as the Radeon AI PRO R9600D and Radeon AI PRO R9700S.

The new update also resolves a number of bugs and issues. Among these resolved issues is the problem where Radeon Anti-Lag 2 was unavailable in Counter-Strike 2 (DX11) when enabled on some AMD graphics cards.
Additionally, intermittent system crashes in standby mode on some high-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 displays and application freezes when using Radeon Overlay in-game have been resolved. A significant issue resolved was an application crash on the Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders on Radeon RX 9000 series GPUs.
However, some known issues persist with the AMD Adrenalin 25.12.1 driver. These include intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts when loading saved gameplay with path tracing enabled in Cyberpunk 2077.
AMD reports actively working with the development team to resolve this issue. Application crashes or driver timeouts continue to occur occasionally when playing Battlefield 6 on a PC with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor.
Furthermore, intermittent crashes are observed in Roblox Player (Car Zone Racing & Drifting) when switching tasks on Radeon RX 7000 series products. Texture flickering or distortion in Battlefield 6 when Recording and Broadcasting is enabled, and incorrect shadow rendering in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, are among the known issues. AMD is working with developers to resolve these problems as quickly as possible.
