AMD Shelves Low-End RDNA 3 GPUs, Shifts Focus to RDNA 4

This means we may never see these GPUs, which were supposed to use the Navi 33 chips, on the market. Rumors from China suggest that even AMD’s partners have not started production of these GPUs. AMD now plans to move directly to RDNA 4-based solutions for the low-end GPU market. The RX 8000 series, built on the RDNA 4 foundation, is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025.
