AMD has distinguished itself in the processor market with products that deliver the highest performance in all segments, from servers to mobile devices. The company announced that its EPYC, Threadripper, and Ryzen series, developed with the Zen 5 architecture, have earned the title of “world’s fastest processor” in every category. With this development, AMD has secured a leading position on all fronts in this long-standing competition.
AMD Comes with the World’s Fastest Processors
On the server side, the EPYC 9005 series stands out. This series from AMD has proven its performance superiority on a global scale, optimized for both cloud infrastructures and enterprise data centers.

The top two systems on the June 2025 Top 500 Supercomputer list—El Capitan and Frontier—run on AMD EPYC processors. It’s emphasized that these data centers are at the forefront not only in terms of theoretical but also in practical use in terms of performance.
In the workstation segment, AMD has outperformed Intel’s Xeon 6 family with the Threadripper PRO 9000 WX series. These processors offer up to a 30% performance increase over the previous generation in intensive workloads such as high-resolution rendering, big data analysis, and scientific computations. Standard Threadripper 9000 models continue to be preferred in desktop workstations.
In the consumer segment, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D currently leads the way in gaming performance. With its high clock speeds and 3D V-Cache technology, this model delivers stable frame rates even in the most demanding games.
The Ryzen 9 9800X3D, which follows, offers a similar gaming experience. In laptops, the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D stands out. This processor delivers high performance in both gaming and productivity environments in portable systems.
AMD is pushing the boundaries in artificial intelligence applications with the Ryzen AI Max series. This series is the only processor family capable of natively running large language models with 128 billion parameters on Windows systems. This makes it possible to use powerful AI applications without an internet connection.
