AMD’s new generation graphics card RX 9060 XT, developed with the RDNA 4 architecture, was tested before the official launch. The RX 9060 XT model, specially produced by XFX, attracted attention by scoring 17,069 points in the 3DMark Time Spy test.
AMD RX 9060 XT entered the performance test
This score shows that it has reached almost the same level as the RX 7700 XT. In the current tests, the RX 7700 XT and the RTX 5060 Ti show similar performance. Therefore, it seems that the RX 9060 XT will be an important alternative in the market, which is expected to be positioned between the RTX 5060 and the RTX 5060 Ti.

The card’s technical specifications include 32 RDNA 4 processing units, 8GB and 16GB GDDR6 VRAM options, 3.13 GHz boost clock speed, FSR 4 support, DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b connection interfaces. The tested model of the XFX used a special driver version 25.6.1 that AMD has not yet released for general distribution.
With this version, the card was able to reach a clock speed of up to 3.46 GHz with 40mV undervolt and a 10% power limit increase. Despite reaching this level, total power consumption was measured as only 199W. The memory frequency was fixed at 2538 MHz.
It is seen that the performance tests are limited to 3DMark Time Spy. However, the fact that the RX 9060 XT is approaching the level of the RX 7700 XT indicates that competition will intensify, especially in the price-performance segment.
It is stated that AMD may continue a similar approach to pricing as it did with the previous RX 9070 series. It is suggested that the launch price of the RX 9060 XT will be between $299 and $349.
The RX 9060 XT will be introduced on June 5. So what do you think about this product? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
