What will AMD Ryzen Z2 Go offer?
Golden Pig Upgrade Pack claims that the ‘Z2G’ name on the new processor represents the Z2 Go, which is expected to be available only in the Legion Go S model. It is also expected that the chip will be positioned in the entry-level segment of four cores and eight threads.

These cores have Zen 3+ architecture and for the graphics part, the component will have 12 RDNA 2 type computing units in addition to LPDDR5X-6400 memory support. Considering AMD’s Rembrandt and Rembrandt-R series processors, there is no equivalent model of the Z2G.
Still, the Rembrandt-R chip family (Ryzen 7035) will continue to be produced by AMD in 2025. These are considered APUs and are highlighted as good options for manufacturers who want to include them in portable console projects. It is also stated that this will be an alternative to chips in the Hawk Point, Strix Point and Krackan Point series.
Finally, let’s talk about some details about Lenovo’s Legion Go S model. The highly anticipated new hand console model is rumoured to have a 120 Hz screen with FHD resolution. It is also claimed to come with 512 GB SSD capacity and 16 GB RAM.
