AMD to increase support for Xbox console!
The collaboration between Microsoft and AMD goes beyond the AI-supported processors developed for the new Xbox console. AMD CEO Lisa Su stated that the company’s strategic relationship with Microsoft will not be limited to the production of chips specific to Xbox.
AMD is increasing its support for the Xbox console
The new AMD solutions are expected to create a unified hardware ecosystem that aims to improve the gaming experience. Su stated that the hardware to be developed will also support compatibility with older games.
Microsoft, on the other hand, confirmed in a recent statement that it will not withdraw from the hardware market and that the next-generation Xbox console is in the development process. The 10th-generation Xbox device is equipped with AI-supported special chips developed within the scope of the collaboration with AMD.
However, the roadmap announced by AMD indicates that this alliance is not exclusive to the console. The approach focused on hardware standardization and gaming performance both increases efficiency on the manufacturer side and has the potential to integrate the gaming experience between different devices.
No information was shared by Microsoft directly confirming AMD’s statements. However, Xbox President Sarah Bond’s previous statements that the next-generation Xbox console could run Windows games directly had drawn attention.
