Google brings new features to the operating system even though the OS is in the final version. Now, the tech giant has released the Android 13 QPR Beta 2 update for Pixel devices. The new Beta update brings multiple bug fixes and support for Unicode 15 emojis. Android 13 QPR Beta 2 update comes with 21 emojis, including new animals and a few other characters. Here are the details about QPR Beta 2.
Android 13 QPR Beta 2 comes with Unicode 15.0
Google will release the stable version of the new Android 13 QPR2 in March. Before the stable version, the company releases beta updates for devices. Now, the Beta 2 version is available for Pixels, but you can also sign up for the beta. The update comes with significant bug fixes and support for Unicode 15 emojis.
Thanks to new emojis, users can now express themselves in a new fun way. According to Unicode 15.0, the beta update includes five new animals introduced as emojis, donkey, moose, goose, wing, and jellyfish. While the blackbird replaces the already existing bluebird, the update also comes with ginger, hyacinth, and pea pod.
There are also new colored hearts such as a pink heart, a light blue heart, and a grey heart. The hand emojis are available in different skin tones. The QPR Beta 2 update also comes with a folding hand fan, hair pick, flute, maracas, khanda, and wireless emojis. Although these emojis don’t appear on Gboard yet, others can be used on devices by copying and pasting.
Pixel users can now see the Android 13 QPR Beta 2 emojis if they signed up for the Google beta program. If you have a Pixel device, but cannot see the emojis, you can sign up for the beta program, and receive the update. However, you should know that the update is available in the beta version, which means there could be multiple issues with the updates.
