Android 14 Beta 2.1 update resolves all issues
The initial beta release of Android 14 had numerous bugs, prompting Google to quickly release Beta 1.1 to address some of the issues. However, that update wasn’t sufficient to resolve all the problems. During the Google I/O 2023 event, some of the issues were addressed with Android 14 Beta 2.
Two weeks after the previous update, Google released Android 14 Beta 2.1. This update focuses on resolving the reported bugs rather than introducing new features. It includes an important fix for Pixel owners experiencing issues with device setup. The Android 14 Beta 2.1 update carries the build number UPB2.230407.019.
In addition to the update, it also includes the Android Security Patch Level. The new Android Beta update fixes an error that displayed 0% battery percentage instead of the actual battery level. It also resolves an issue causing problems with the device’s speakers. Furthermore, it addresses various issues such as app crashes, freezing problems, and Google Photos app crashes.
