vivo continues to ship Android 14, which was introduced last year, to its compatible models. In this context, the Chinese brand has been focusing more on the middle segment lately. The latest information reveals that a model sold in our country has received the new structure. So, which vivo model received the update?

vivo V23 received Funtouch OS 14 update based on Android 14

vivo V23 has started receiving Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. While the new build comes with the PD2167DF_EX_A_14.2.10.3.W30 build, it also brings the March 2024 security patch. However, the new version is 5.5 GB in size.

Here are some of the innovations that come with the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 update:

Lock Screen Clock

• Smart color inversion, Smart color selection, and Basic color customization options have been added, along with clock layout style and font setting for the lock screen clock, to increase personalization capability.

Albums

• Added support for saving images at custom resolutions when editing images
• Added Export original quality video option in video editing, which, when opened, allows you to export original quality videos
• Added various filter effects in video editing
• Optimized filter thumbnails to intuitively reflect usage scenarios and effects

Small Windows

• Added top bar design to make dragging easier
• Added Mini small window mode that allows you to switch to the mini window in navigation and other scenarios to easily view in-app content. You can double-tap to switch to a full-screen view
• Added split screen and small window placement so you can open small windows in split screen mode

System

• Optimized system memory by reducing system onboard memory and improving onboard process memory flow, thus providing users with more memory by reducing memory used by the system in users’ daily use
