Google has released the Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3.1 update, which includes various fixes for various bugs in the operating system. What does Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3.1 offer?
According to the official statement, devices enrolled in the Android Beta programme for Pixel will be able to receive over-the-air (OTA) updates to Beta 3.1. However, these devices must remain on the QPR1 version of Android 15 and must not have received QPR2 Beta 1. The structure of the new version is defined as AP41.240925.012.
According to Google’s statement, the following changes are brought with the Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3.1 update:
- Fixed an issue that caused the notification shade to close when the media controls were tapped, but the app would not open (Issue 375447625).
- Fixed an issue where long pressing the device home icon would not work when there were too many notifications and the notifications section overlapped the lock icon (Issue 369316295).
- Fixed an issue that prevented proper volume control for some Bluetooth devices (issue 376650439, issue 373681731).
- Fixed an issue where Material You colour options derived from the background were too similar (issue 378507373).
- Fixed an issue where the size and style of the scrollbar in system settings was inconsistent (issue 366278155).
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused NFC payments to fail (issue 363914347).
- Fixed an issue where Indonesian and Hebrew translations were not displayed correctly for apps targeting Android 14 (API level 34) or earlier (issue 378200084).
- Fixing various other issues affecting system stability, camera, connectivity, localisation, accessibility and interactivity.
