Android 15 QPR1 Beta fixes many critical issues
The new Beta version AP41.240925.009, released for Android 15, is described as having an October security patch that fixes 28 vulnerabilities in the Android system and 29 vulnerabilities specific to Pixel devices.
The first of the critical vulnerabilities fixes a vulnerability in the modem of Pixel smartphones. Another solves a serious problem with the Android Paket Inspector. On the other hand, other vulnerabilities affect TrustyOS, Android’s secure execution environment.
Here are the remaining problems fixed by Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3:
- The problem with notifications has been fixed.
- The problem that caused mobile phones to freeze and restart unexpectedly has been resolved.
- Fixed the issue with volume buttons when connected to Bluetooth devices.
- Fixed the problem of incorrect display of icons on the home screen.
- Fixed slowdown and freezing error when changing the phone user.
- System interface failures have been resolved.
- Fixed blank screen problem when opening foldable mobile phones.
- Problems with warning notifications have been closed.
- Fixed crash when receiving error reports.
- Fixed issues with BluetoothDevice.getType() when testing with virtual devices.
- Fixed various system stability, connectivity and interaction issues.
In addition, the new version features enhanced LE volume control. This feature allows the user to adjust the volume of each connected device using the system interface and limits the use of the volume key to the main device.
