In recent times, the allure of iOS devices is undeniable. Particularly, many Android users are either switching to the Apple ecosystem or declaring that their next smartphone will be an iPhone model. So, which iPhone models are preferred by users transitioning from Android to iOS? Let’s delve into the details…
iPhone 14 and 14 Plus shine on the podium! Here are the most preferred Apple models
Recently, the American data analysis and research company CIRP released a new report. This report provided data on the percentage of iPhone users who switched from an Android device. According to the report, it was revealed that 13% of users who purchased an iPhone in 2023 had transitioned from an Android device.
Additionally, the report included data on when these transitions occurred and the age groups of iPhone users. Yesterday, CIRP released another report, this time focusing on which iPhone models were most preferred by users transitioning from Android to iPhone.
Looking at the report, we can see that the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models, which account for 26% of the pie, stand out. Following closely behind are the other two members of the family, the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models, with a share of 25%. It would be unfair to expect the 15 series to take the lead, as the phone was introduced in September and the information in the report covers the year 2023.
When we look at the percentages for the series following the 14 series, we see that they are divided into smaller shares. The 15 series ranks third with a 21% share of the pie (12% for the 15 Pro and Pro Max, 9% for the 15 and 15 Plus), followed by the iPhone 13 series with an 11% share. The overall breakdown is as follows:
- iPhone 14 series: 51%
- iPhone 15 series: 21%
- iPhone 13 series: 11%
- iPhone SE series: 10%
- iPhone 12 series: 8%
