Temel Kotil: After KAAN, the domestic 6th generation fighter jet comes with Anka-3 and Kızıelma!

Turkey’s local and national warplane, National Combat Aircraft KAAN, made its first flight last week. The aircraft, which is in the same class as the F-22 Raptor, also challenges the F-35, as it is 4.5 generation and will be modernized with the 5th generation aircraft in the future. Especially after the MMU KAAN, which is quite large in size, questions about projects related to the 6th generation fighter aircraft began to be asked.

When the National Combat Aircraft KAAN hit the runway, the first questions asked were about the dimensions of the aircraft. KAAN, which has a difference of 4 meters in wingspan and 6 meters in length, looks like the older brother of the F-35 when brought side by side. The aircraft, which received many comments on the subject, was also commented by some experts as “it will facilitate the production of the 6th generation aircraft thanks to its large dimensions.”
