January 2025 Update Now Available for Galaxy S24 Series
Samsung has launched a new January 2025 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The smartphones were last updated in early January, and sources suggest that the patch, based on One UI 6.1, may indicate potential delays for the stable One UI 7 release.
The January 2025 update is 400 MB in size and is currently rolling out to South Korean variants of the Galaxy S24 models. It addresses more than 50 security vulnerabilities.
Here are the firmware versions for the Galaxy S24 series:
- Galaxy S24: S921NKSS4AXL3
- S24 Plus: S926NKSS4AXL3
- S24 Ultra: S928NKSS4AXL3
If you haven’t received an automatic update notification, you can manually check by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update is still unavailable, it might not have reached your region yet, so you may need to wait a bit longer.
