Apple has taken an exciting step for content creators and professionals by officially announcing a new subscription package called the Apple Creator Studio. This new bundle consolidates the company’s most powerful creative software under a single, affordable monthly subscription.
What’s Included in Apple Creator Studio?
The new package offers a comprehensive suite of tools for both Mac and iPad users. Subscribers will gain access to industry-standard applications essential for video editing, music production, and graphic design. The core applications in the bundle are:
- Final Cut Pro (Mac & iPad)
- Logic Pro (Mac & iPad)
- Pixelmator Pro (Mac & iPad)
Furthermore, the subscription also includes the Mac-specific apps Motion, Compressor, and MainStage. Apple is also enhancing its productivity suite by providing premium content for Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. The company noted that the Freeform application will be added to the bundle in a future update.
Set to launch on January 28, the Apple Creator Studio will be priced at $12.99 per month or $129 for an annual subscription. In a move to support education, students and educators can subscribe for just $2.99 per month. Additionally, Apple is offering a one-month free trial for all new subscribers to experience the full suite of applications.
New Features Coming to Creative Apps
Alongside the bundle announcement, Apple introduced several powerful updates to its popular applications. Final Cut Pro will receive a Transcript Search feature to easily locate audio clips and a Visual Search feature that allows users to find moments by describing them. The iPad version is also getting a new Montage Maker for rapid editing.
Pixelmator Pro, which Apple acquired in 2024, is making its debut on the iPad with full Apple Pencil support. Meanwhile, Logic Pro users can look forward to new capabilities like the Synth Player and the ability to perform searches using natural language commands.
The Creator Studio subscription also unlocks the Content Center within Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, providing access to a library of high-quality stock photos and graphics. Beta AI features, such as creating presentation drafts from text in Keynote, will also be available. Apple confirmed that one-time purchase options for these apps will remain on the Mac App Store, and the free versions of iWork apps will continue to be available.
