    The Russian ministry has completely banned the use of Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices for business purposes in the military organization as a result of recently published critical security reports. With this decision, individuals belonging to the Russian army will definitely not be able to use these Apple devices while conducting military activities.

    The reports that forced Russia to take this decision claim that a US-based espionage operation has compromised the information of members of the military using Apple devices and leaked confidential information. With these critical allegations gaining a serious dimension, the affected organizations started to take security measures quickly.

    Within the scope of the ban decision taken, the use of devices for personal purposes is not prevented. However, reading e-mails from military sources and hosting information or documents related to the military are clearly prohibited.
