Apple Intelligence, announced with the iPhone 16 series last year, was not well-liked by some users, but the company is determined to develop this AI model. Individual iPhone users can choose whether or not to connect Apple Intelligence to ChatGPT, but this situation has become more complex on enterprise devices, so Apple has decided to take action. Here are the details.
Enterprise AI Improves with iOS 26 Update
A popular technology publication reported that Apple will add “the ability to configure the use of an enterprise version of OpenAI’s ChatGPT” with the upcoming iOS 26 update. Allegedly, Apple will offer users additional features with this AI version, such as different privacy settings, higher usage limits, and the integration of company data.

A report by TechCrunch states that this enterprise integration was developed with modularity in mind:
“Apple’s support documentation indicates that IT administrators will be able to restrict or enable the use of not only OpenAI’s technology but also any ‘external’ AI provider.”
The system is said to allow integration with other companies offering enterprise accounts, such as Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft, but does not extend beyond Apple’s existing agreement with OpenAI.
The information also added: “This setup allows businesses to choose which AI features to enable, as well as allowing employees to decide whether AI requests are sent to ChatGPT’s cloud service.”
