Apple will unveil its new products and software, especially the iPhone 15 series, on September 12. It was claimed that Apple, which did not want to have a stock problem until the launch date, faced a last minute shock. iPhone 15 Pro Max production process started late.
iPhone 15 Pro Max production
According to a new report by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Pro Max, the most powerful model in the iPhone 15 series, is facing production delays ahead of its September launch. Information shared by manufacturing partners suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is late for mass production.
Previously, Kuo said that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could arrive on shelves 3-4 weeks late. Although the launch is weeks away, production problems could not be solved and the mass production of the Pro Max has been delayed. The main reason for this is the new titanium frame on the outer case.
The delay was expected to affect the iPhone 15 Pro series first. However, there were no problems for the 15 Pro. The manufacturers reportedly received “significant design changes” from Apple regarding titanium bezels.
Kuo also thinks that changing the mute button was an important factor in production. For those who don’t know, Apple wanted to switch to a solid-state button instead of physical buttons. However, it gave up due to production issues.
Apart from the titanium frame and button, Kuo reported problems with display panels, batteries and other components. However, most of these problems have already been resolved. Apple has no plans to delay the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but availability won’t be known until September.
