Apple has shared usage rates for developers publishing apps on the App Store. According to this data, 20% of iPhone models released in the last four years are still running on iOS 16. According to the data, 66% of all iPhones are running on iOS 17, 23% on iOS 16, and the remaining 11% on older versions. As for iPads, the most common iPadOS version is iPadOS 17, with a usage rate of 53%. The usage rate for iPadOS 16, released in 2022, is 29%.
