M4 processor speeds up iPads by 50%
Introduced as the latest Apple processor, the M4 features second-generation 3 nm technology. Additionally, the new chipset, which comes with the new Display Engine, hosts ten cores, including four performance and six efficiency cores.
Compared to the previous model with the M2, the new model offers 50% more effective and faster processing power, comfortably running games like Diablo thanks to its Ray Tracing feature. Moreover, it is claimed to provide four times faster rendering performance than the M2 processor.
Designed for artificial intelligence with the capacity to perform 38 trillion operations per second, the M4 processor is 16-core and 60 times better than the first Neural Engine. The chipset, capable of delivering the same performance as its predecessor while consuming one-fourth of the power, offers users of the new OLED-screened 2024 iPad Pro an advanced experience.
