Apple Maps has also become available on Android phones, but this support is not offered as an application. The newly developed web version has been fully launched after the testing period. Thus, Android users can access Apple Maps by going to “maps.apple.com” via their mobile browser without having to download any applications.
Apple Maps is coming to the Android platform
Basic functions such as being able to navigate freely on the map, searching for businesses, getting information about locations, and creating address or location-based directions are supported quite stably.

In addition, digital guides created by Apple for certain regions can be viewed via this web interface. In this way, users can not only navigate on the map, but also access thematic lists such as recommended restaurants, travel routes, and shopping spots.
However, some important features are currently missing from the web version. For example, Apple’s advanced public transportation routes and stop information have not been added to the web application.
Similarly, the three-dimensional building views offered by Apple in the US and some European cities are not supported in the web version. In addition, users do not currently have the opportunity to log in with their Apple ID and access their saved locations or guides they have created.
Apple has made this web-based map solution accessible not only for Android but also for all mobile platforms in general. In other words, users who use Windows tablets or different mobile browsers can also benefit from this service.
In the statements made by Apple on the subject, it was stated that new features will continue to be added to the Apple Maps web application. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
