Apple unveiled new iPad models and accessories at the Let Loose event held the other day. Along with the new Air and Pro models, older tablets were updated. While the price of the 10th generation iPad model was reduced, the 9th generation iPad was removed from sale.
9th generation iPad removed from sale
Apple unveiled the 11 and 13-inch iPad Air and Pro tablets. The models hit the shelves and older devices were canceled. Apple removed the 9th generation iPad, also known as the last iPad model with a headphone jack, from its official lineup.
It was also the last device with a physical Home button. The 10th generation and later iPads have moved to larger screen-to-case ratios. This led to a smaller bezel and the removal of the physical button.
The design trend that started first on iPhones and then on iPads brought the end of the old models. After the Let Loose event, there are no more iPad models with physical buttons and headphone jack.
Apple also reduced the prices of the 10th Generation iPad, which is available in two versions, 64 GB and 256 GB, by 10 percent. The 64GB model is sold for 3 thousand 440 TL and the 256GB model is sold for 2 thousand 880 TL cheaper than the old price. The new prices are 15 thousand 999 TL for 64GB and 22 thousand 499 TL for 256GB.
Another noteworthy change in this event was the box content. Apple will no longer remove the adapter from the box of new iPads. Apple states that removing the adapter from the box is an environmentally friendly step.
