Apple has recently launched HomePod’s, known as smart home assistants, for sale in Turkey. In fact, the first version of HomePod was announced at Apple’s WWDC 2017 in 2017. But it took a long time for HomePod devices to go on sale in our country. In recent months, HomePod 2nd generation and HomePod mini have gone on sale in our country. According to new leaks, the company is working on a new smart home device similar to Google Nest, compatible with Apple Intelligence. New Apple TVs are also coming.
Apple’s new smart home device leaked
A team from MacRumors dug deep into Apple software and discovered a new device. The smart home device, called HomeAccessory17.1, is thought to be Apple’s new Siri supported smart home assistant. Although it was thought to be an update to HomePod at first, HomePod seems to be registered as AudioAccessory in Apple’s operating systems. In addition, the 17.1 code in the identifier name will be used as iPhone17.1 in the new iPhone 16 series. The company’s use of the same identifier code indicates that the smart home device can use the A18 Bionic processor.
If the A18 Bionic processor is included in the smart home device, it will show that this device can support Apple Intelligence. According to the team examining the system, two devices with the identifier names AppleTV14.4 and AppleTV14.5 appear in the same codes. This tells us that according to another leak outside the home assistant, the company may introduce two different devices as Apple TV and Apple TV Pro and support artificial intelligence by powering it with the A18 Bionic processor. The Apple TV 4K 3rd generation, which is currently on sale, was introduced in 2022 and went on sale with the A15 Bionic processor.
When we collect all these leaks, the company wants to include Apple Intelligence more in its products with its new smart home device. When you provide the whole ecosystem, with the automations you will set up, artificial intelligence can do the operations you do when you come home, when you come home, your air conditioner may be on or your lights may already be on. The company is expected to introduce all these devices at its event in autumn.
