Apple has announced that its Vision Pro headset will soon be available internationally, following the unveiling of visionOS 2 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) today.
The tech giant’s supply chain is set to begin shipping the highly anticipated Vision Pro to countries outside the United States by mid-June. According to a recent post on social media platform X by noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the first wave of countries to receive shipments includes the UK, France, Germany, China, Japan, and Singapore. Additional countries potentially joining this rollout are Australia, Canada, and South Korea.
During the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference keynote, Apple is expected to provide detailed information on the international availability of the Vision Pro. The headset is projected to be launched in these initial countries before the end of July.
The visionOS 2 update will introduce a range of new features, including more Apple apps optimized for the Vision Pro headset and enhancements addressing previously “missing features,” as reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Rumored additions include a respiration tracking feature and Apple Pencil Pro support, among other updates.
