Apple Vision Pro, whose sales have skyrocketed, is playing extra time!

Apple fell short of the 700 to 800 thousand sales target it set for Vision Pro. Brand's Apple decision to cut production for Vision Pro!

Apple‘s long-awaited mixed reality glasses,  Apple Vision Pro,  finally went on sale in recent months. Although the brand’s new AR/VR glasses offer a better quality user experience compared to its competitors, it has been constantly criticized for its price tag of $ 3,500. Many such factors caused the device to fail to reach its sales target. Latest information claims that Apple has taken an important action on the issue.

According to the information shared by The Verge , Apple fell well below the 700 to 800 thousand sales target it initially set for Vision Pro . It is reported that the final target of the brand, which set a new road map after the glasses failed to reach the target, is to sell 400 to 450 thousand units. However, it is underlined that there will be a cut in production .

    Apple reduces Vision Pro production

Despite the disappointment, Apple will not withdraw from this market. Because new mixed reality (AR/VR) glasses are expected to be released soon. It is also stated that the company plans to give this device an affordable price tag.

The capabilities of Apple Vision Pro are indisputable, but as mentioned above, its price of $3,500 prevents it from making the expected impact on sales, considering its competitors such as Meta Quest 3, which has a starting price of $499. We should even point out that Mark Zuckerberg said in recent months that Meta Quest 3 is a better product in terms of both price and user experience.
