Apple introduced the Black Unity Collection for 2025. The collection is dedicated to Black History Month and includes Apple Watch wristbands, watch faces, and iPhone/iPad wallpapers. This year’s collection is inspired by the ‘rhythm of humanity’ and is a collaboration between black creatives at Apple and their allies, blending black, green and red – the colours of the Pan-African flag.
Apple officially unveils the Black Unity line
First introduced, the Black Unity Rhythm Sport Loop is characterised by a special lenticular effect. Using shades of red and green, this bracelet allows the colours to change dynamically thanks to the raised and sunken patterned loops. When the user moves their wrist, the colour changes from green to red to yellow. The wristband is now available at Apple retail stores and online for $49.
The collection’s Unity Rhythm watch face is designed with customised numerals in unique red, green and yellow colours. When Apple Watch users raise their wrists to check the time, the numbers take shape with abstract brushstrokes that penetrate this special design. It also plays a distinctive rhythmic chime every hour and half-hour. The Unity Rhythm watch face will be available with the iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 software update.
