Apple WWDC 2024: AI and More
With the rapid increase in interest in artificial intelligence following the development of models like OpenAI’s Sora and GPT-4o, it has long been anticipated that Apple would take a step in this direction. At today’s event, where Apple is expected to announce versions such as iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2, artificial intelligence features will also be unveiled.
According to rumors, Apple will rebrand the term “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) to “Apple Intelligence.” Leaks suggest that Apple will introduce new artificial intelligence features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac models, with support from OpenAI and ChatGPT models.
Although no new device is expected, there may be references to the iPhone 16 event to be held in September. Such as the new AI features expected to work on iPhone 15 Pro or higher models. Also M1 processor-equipped iPad/Mac models or newer.
Among the expectations are a more feature-rich Siri, integration of third-party apps, enhanced features for the Photos app, AI-generated emojis, and more.
