The features of Apple’s highly anticipated foldable iPhone are finally starting to take shape. A new leak reveals crucial details about the device, showing that Apple is preparing to enter the foldable phone market. Here are the leaked details!
Big Screen, Ultra-Thin Design for Apple’s Foldable Phone
According to reliable leaks shared by a source named HaYaO on the X platform, Apple’s first foldable phone will be book-style and resemble the design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, the device’s screen size could exceed expectations.

The leaked information suggests that the phone’s internal screen will be 12 inches, with a folded thickness of just 9 mm and an open thickness of 4.6 mm. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a thickness of 5.6 mm when open and 12.1 mm when folded. Apple’s foldable phone could be one of the thinnest foldable devices on the market.
According to the leak, the screen of Apple’s foldable phone will be produced by Samsung, with a custom UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) lens technology being developed specifically for Apple. This UTG technology will be a special version designed for Apple by the South Korean tech giant.
Apple’s foldable iPhone will feature a dual rear camera setup. It will include a primary camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera, with hybrid glass-plastic lenses. This lens structure is expected to be similar to those used in Apple’s traditional flagship models.
The device will have a dual battery system, with an estimated total capacity of 5,000 mAh. Additionally, Apple aims to reduce the physical size of the battery with 3D battery technology.
As you may know, Apple has been cautious about entering the foldable phone trend so far. However, for users who are tied to the iOS ecosystem and can’t let go of the brand, Apple’s foldable model could be a major opportunity. By the end of the year, we’ll likely know more about how the company will position itself against Samsung and other competitors.
What do you think? How will Apple’s foldable iPhone affect the market? Will Apple fans wait until 2026 instead of turning to Samsung and other manufacturers’ foldable phones? Don’t forget to share your thoughts!
