Samsung recently resumed the rollout of the One UI 7 update, and in the process, the South Korean tech giant continues to prioritize user security by releasing important patches. Most recently, the company has pushed out the April 2025 security update for three of its popular models.
April 2025 Security Update Arrives for Galaxy S25 Series
The latest devices to receive the April 2025 update are the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The new patch fixes over 60 security vulnerabilities and has initially been released in South Korea, Australia, and India. The update is expected to roll out to more regions in the coming days.

If the update notification hasn’t appeared on your device yet, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If you still don’t see the update after following these steps, it may not have reached your region yet, and you might need to wait a bit longer.
