Arc Raiders, the new PvPvE extraction game developed by Embark Studios, has launched with a bang. The game surpassed 2.5 million copies sold in its first week of release. These impressive Arc Raiders sales demonstrate the game’s overall success across console and PC platforms.

The game’s success isn’t limited to its overall sales. According to reports, Arc Raiders sold 1.6 million copies on Steam in just three days after its October 30th release. These sales generated approximately $61 million in revenue for the developer. The game quickly rose to number one on Steam’s Global Bestsellers list.

This massive success also brought some technical challenges. The game experienced a high volume of concurrent players during its launch weekend, reaching 354,000. As a result, many players experienced matchmaking and server login issues throughout the weekend. The development team stated that they are actively implementing fixes to prevent server crashes.

Embark Studios has apologized to players for these inconveniences. As both a thank you and an apology, the developer announced that it will be giving away 500 free Raider Tokens to all players who log into the game during launch weekend.
