Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, known for his accurate leaks, has revealed exciting details about Assassin’s Creed Hexe. While we know very little about the game so far, leaks and statements made by Marc-Alexis Côté, Vice President and Executive Producer of the series, show that the game will offer a different experience.
Our main character in Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be named Elsa
Assassin’s Creed Hexe is rumored to take a different approach than past games. The game, which will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal, is expected to focus on the theme of witchcraft and is rumored to be set in Central Europe during the 16th century Holy Roman Empire.
The game is known to be in early development and is expected to be released on the Infinity platform in 2026. Hexe is said to offer a more linear experience compared to previous games, but with some elements of open-world exploration. According to Insider Gaming, Hexe will have a single female protagonist, currently named Elsa. Elsa reportedly has some supernatural abilities, but exactly what those abilities are remains unclear.
According to Henderson’s leaks, the game is planned to feature a Fear System. This system will be inspired by Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s ‘Jack The Ripper’ DLC. It’s not known exactly how the system will work, but given the events that took place during the 16th century Witch Trials, it seems appropriate to add horror elements to the game.
Given these early details, it’s no surprise that Marc-Alexis Côté described the game as “a different kind of game”. Expectations are growing that the game will offer a different atmosphere from the long RPG experiences players are used to.
Assassin’s Creed Hexe, according to the information received so far, seems like it will take a different path from the usual patterns of the series. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
