Asus continues to push the boundaries in the gaming monitor market. The company introduced the ROG XG248Q5G-P model and broke a new record in refresh rate. Overclockable up to 610 Hz, this monitor offers maximum fluency to gaming enthusiasts.
Asus introduces 610 Hz gaming monitor
Asus ROG XG248Q5G-P uses a 24.1-inch Super TN panel. The panel comes with Full HD resolution and supports refresh rates ranging from 240Hz to 480Hz. However, the most striking feature is that the refresh rate can be increased to 610Hz with overclocking.

This value seems to be well above the vast majority of monitors available on the market. For gamers, such a high refresh rate is especially advantageous in competitive e-sports scenarios.
The monitor’s response time was measured at 0.1 milliseconds. This ultra-low latency means that the display’s response to inputs is almost instantaneous. In addition, Asus’ AI Vision image optimisation technology automatically adjusts game scenes according to content type.
On the hardware side, the monitor offers both Nvidia G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium support. This provides a smoother experience by eliminating screen tearing and frame stuttering. Thanks to dual backlighting technology, blurring in fast-moving scenes is minimised.
Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and 3.5 mm audio jack. These inputs and outputs provide a wide range of compatibility for both PC and console users. On the design side, the product carries the characteristic lines of the ROG series.
Asus ROG XG248Q5G-P is available for sale with a price tag of $ 1100. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
